KLM Flying Dutchman - need help choosing seats for KLM

hello everyone,
i'll be flying a Boeing 747 Jet and a Boeing 777 jet. I haven't flown KLM in a few years, so I have forgotten what seats I should request.
Here's some info first:
- I'll be travelling economy
- I'll be travelling the second week of July

I hope the frequent flyers (or anyone) can tell me what the best seats are on those planes. I prefer the window seat, with leg room.

I'm flying from toronto to amsterdam.
i guess i'm interested in knowing what kind of vegetarian food they serve. Is it any good? And should I ask for 'exit row' seats? (i.e. comfort wise....)

For Veggie bring your own in Y as re-cycled cardboard covered in something slimey smelling like an Arabs sandal is not that good at 35000 feet.

Go for exit if you have to have Y or maybe down the back where there are some rows of two and if you get the window seat there is extra legroom to your left or right depending which side you sit on.

The select section at the front is crap as all you get is the clattering of trolleys all night long.

I prefer the window seat, with leg room.

I'm flying the KLM692 this Sunday and it's a 744 - I thought they stopped the 777 now on the YYZ route :(

Yes it is absolutely the best! Very difficult to get unfortunately...
