Miles & More (Lufthansa, Austrian, Swiss, and other partners) - SEN threshold only 100k in Austria?

Sorry if this has been discussed before but I used the search function and didn't find anything about it.

While surfing the AUA and miles-and-more.at sites I found the following prerequisites for SEN status:

"Since January 2004, 100,000 miles are required to qualify for Senator status. These must be collected between January 1st and December 31st of a given calendar year."

The German version states it even more clearly:

"Bisher erhielten Sie die Lufthansa Senator Card beim Stand von 150.000 Statusmeilen. Seit Jänner 2004 sind für die Qualifizierung zum Senator Status nur noch 100.000* Meilen erforderlich, die jeweils vom 01. Jänner bis 31. Dezember eines Jahres gesammelten werden müssen (Kalenderjahr als Berechnungsbasis).

*Wohnsitz in Österreich"

The miles-and-more.de site still says

"Until now you have received the Lufthansa Senator Card in return for 150,000* status miles over the previous 12 calendar months. From January 2003, the miles earned between 1 January and 31 December of any given year will count towards the qualification for Senator status.

*For participants residing outside of Germany and Austria 100.000 miles."

Has anyone qualified (for the first time) for SEN with an Austrian address with only 100k this year? Is there a higher competition among FF-programs in Austria or will we see the 100k threshold in Germany soon as well?

I mainly wondered why they have lowered the Austrian threshold on Jan 1, 2004 after stressing that the 150k threshold would apply in Germany and Austria before
