(The ALEX cartoon strip originals are all for sale. A strip measures 4 x 14 in and costs £180 (incl. VAT). If there's a particular one you want, phone or fax us some information about it (the date it appeared, what the punch line was etc.) and we'll let you know if we've still got it.
If the original is not available, or you are too mean to purchase it, we can make a print of it for you at a cost of £50 (incl. VAT). Originals and prints are signed by the artist and author).

I discovered the joy of merchant banker Alex on a UK trip a few years ago, and now own all but one of the collections of the strips. Each collection has one and sometimes two sequences about air travel -- upgrades, downgrades, even one in which Alex and Clive (his wimpish sidekick) crash in the Brazilian jungle. As Alex fastens his seat belt while the plane falls, Clive says, "We're crashing from 30,000 feet! All they'll find are our bodies!" and Alex replies, "Yes, but at least mine will be found in a first class seat."
