Am looking for more stays in Europe using cash&points. For those of you that have been around, any recommendations on what's a good deal out of the current offerings? I've already booked nights at Asolo, having heard it's a wonderful hotel. Looking for others for simple weekend jaunts (best option would be where I don't need a car , but I'll consider anything).
Thanks.

60 bucks and 4,000 points for the Bristol in Vienna. That may be the best travel deal in the world this summer.

The Palace Hotel in Madrid is probably my runner-up. (Haven't been to the San Sabastian yet, though).

There are many other good deals. In fact, give the strength of the Euro, they're pretty much all great deals

Too bad you can't give an airline 60 bucks and 4,000 miles to take you across the Pond!

I can come close. I've been getting pretty good fares on Ryanair. Got an RT coming up brussels to venice for maybe $120. Currently thinking about an RT to stockholm, which ryanair is showing fares of 5.99 euros each way (got to add taxes/fees, but so what?)

thanks for the suggestions- I will look into them.

Just stayed at the westin Place madrid, awesome hotel. (June 04)
One of the best rooms I have ever stayed in (Upgraded to a Jr. Suite) (I am Plat which helps)
Great bar, very helpful but reserved staff.
