Starwood Preferred Guest - Starpoints to Reserve Differences

I was just looking at a couple hotels to reserve some nights for award stays, specifically the Westin and 4-Points in Halifax. The hotel information pages show them as category 2, 3000-4000 points per night. However, when I get to the availability page, they show as 7000 points per night. What is correct and why the difference?

EDIT: I think me so stupid. :o The 7000 is per stay, which is for two night. One at 3000 and one at 4000. I hope.

Yep. I think you figured it out. At Cat 2 hotels, it's 3,000 for Fri or Sat nights, and 4,000 for all other days of the week. And the Starpoint total reflects your whole stay.
