Starwood Preferred Guest - Westin Long Beach $518 per night???

I just checked the SPG site. Westin Long Beach is usually pricey, but $518 per night? :( :confused:

That is pretty funny. Now I have seen some rates that are pretty high in LA, but not that high. We just stayed there in May for $129 I believe. The rooms were clean and the staff was nice.

Depends upon the date. I know that the swimming trials are coming up soon so they may be almost to capacity.

Yep, I stayed at the Westin about 10 days ago and it was filled with swimmers for an international meet. So I'm guessing you were quoted the rate for a large suite.
