Tried to make a reservation for Sunday night in New Jersey (some Sheraton near New Brunswick). It offered me rates "From $109". I clicked on the link to make a reservation, got the screen saying "No rooms." I called the hotel. As I suspected, they have tons of rooms. Called the 800 number. They see tons of rooms, but the rates are much higher. So I decide to call internet support. Not only are they closed (how can you close an internet support department on a 24 hour worldwide business?), but it says "Please leave us a voicemail and we will call back" but, when you try, "This user cannot accept voice mail because their mailbox is full." Just a guess, but if a company needs to temporarily redirect to which IP a URL goes (e.g. www.spg.com), it takes some time for the change to propogate to all of the domain name servers on the internet. On a whim tried to log-in though internet explorer which I hate using and I was able to log right in so if you need to access the site try internet explorer since it seems to currently be a browser issue. |
