Hilton HHonors - Reward Change

Never posted in the Hilton forum, at least not that I recall.

I've a C605 reward stay booked for the Trafalgar Hilton in August. I just made Gold again (after a long absence). My question is might it be possible to change my reward from the C605 (5 nights 200k points) to the GLONP2 (6 nights 175k points)? I'm booked into the hotel for a total of 10 nights, but only 5 on reward right now. I've also got 2 of the 10k reward discounts I'm going to send in.

I appreciate any thoughts and or experiences in this.

You just call up HHonors customer service give them the reservation number and tell them that you wish to redeposit the C605 and instead issue you a a GLONP2 for said stay. [I assume that you have Silver, Gold or Diamond VIP status since GLONP2 (and certain other awards) are only available to such status members.] There is no charge and it takes all of a few seconds for such to be done. Make sure you note the new certificate number and have them email you the award certificate and also email you the updated reservation indicating the new certificate number. Print out both the new certificate and the new reservation.

Thanks GUWonder I got the reservation changed and the extra points credited to my account.
