Quick trip report on my stays @ the Embassy Suites in Little Rock, AR, The Hilton in Akron (Fairlawn) OH & The Hilton at the Point in Phoenix AZ.
The Embassy Suites in Little Rock is typical ES fair @ $169.00 per night.(Clean larger 2 room suite) No upgrades, full of kids running up and down the halls, the internet did not work, received different TV channels in the bed room than the living room, the front desk had no idea what “The Embassy Touch” was, the staff were slow/marginally efficient and acted like they were doing you a favor. Over all I would give it a 5.5 out of 10. Next time I will go Hilton in this area. Will not stay here again unless the whole city is sold out.
The Hilton in Akron was fantastic! I booked a regular room for the week @ $109.00 per night and was upgraded to one of their large 2 room apartment suites with Jacuzzi. The staff was very nice, smiled, delivered cookies and waters to my room, had turn down service nightly and the staff actually seemed to care. Over all I would give it a 10!
The Hilton at the Point in Phoenix is a real nice location. Lots to do from water slide parks, Lazy River, Put Put course and 3 different restaurants. My rates here were $139.00 per night with a $30.00 a night meal voucher. Again with Hiltons, I was upgraded into one of their “Casita’s” which is a Bi-level 1 bedroom town house. Fantastic place great service, very friendly staff and chocolate turn down service nightly! Over all I would give it a 10!
