I got an e-mail this morning asking me to choose how I wanted to get my HH points in the future...
I've looked back through the last 10 days of postings and can't see anything similar, so apologies if this has already been discussed.
It says

Here's How It Works
Beginning July 1, 2004, you'll earn Points and Variable Miles (10 HHonors Base points + 1 airline mile per eligible U.S. dollar spent). This is the Earnings Style you'll receive unless you select one of these options*:
• Points and Fixed Miles
Earn 10 HHonors Base points per eligible U.S. dollar spent
+ 500 miles per stay (100 miles per stay at Hampton/Scandic hotels)
• Points and Points
Earn 10 HHonors Base points + 5 bonus points per eligible U.S. dollar spent
So i'm assuming this is the end of double dipping?
What should I do? I only stay maybe 3 or 4 nights a YEAR(!!) at Hilton, so the best use to me is the airline miles - i'm thinking I go for option 1.
