I will be going to Aarhus, Denmark for the first time in August. I would appreciate any advice on the Scandic hotels there. Thanks!

I'll try to help (have stayed at both hotels a number of times, since my company has an office in Aarhus).
The only choice between the two Scandics in Aarhus is the location. Both hotels are nothing special, old and quite worn down (ask for a recently renovated room, some of the old ones are REALLY old).
However the locations are quite different:
The Scandic Plaza is down-town within walking distance of all the restaurants, bar and museums in the centre. It's right across from the station. Parking costs 60,- kroner (~10$).
The Scandic Aarhus is located approx. 10km outside the city centre right next to the ring-road. The neighbourhood is concrete blocks and there's no other places to eat than the hotel restaurant. Parking is free.
Personally I choose the Plaza if I plan on going out in the evening and/or go by train, and the Scandic Aarhus if I'm by car and plan on working late (it's closer to my companys office, and parking is easier).
