California - Newport beach Drinking Suggestions

Any info on the best bars for myself 27 years old (look at least 26 though)and my sister 30, to go on our last night away, it will be a saturday night.
Also there was one bar i went to once in the area, a big outdoor bar with many real flame torches around the whole place does anyone know where this might be.
How much would taxis from the Hyatt in Irvine be to Newport beach, or would it be a lot easier to stay at the Hyatt Newporter.

Hyatt Newporter would be a whole lot closer (& more atmospheric). You've gotta hit Josh Slocum's, the Worm's bar - pretty amazing to people watch here. Outdoors with Tikis? Was it the recently re-opened Cannery? Don't remember tikis there, though. Newport Landing to the right of the ferry landing on the Peninsula can be fun. Talk to the Concierge - they'll be able to help. If I think of anymore...

Oh, have a few in Corona del Mar, although none on the water. The outdoor bar w/ firepit at Gulfstream (corner MacArthur & PCH) is fun, so is Oyster's Bar (PCH). For more upscale in NB, 21 Oceanfront is pretty nice.
