US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - Unable to re-book original routing - what should I ask for?

On a recent trip on US I was ticketed as following: TPA-CLT-PHL-PHX (all the same day with a 3 hour stop in PHL). Paid First (A-Class).

First the flight in TPA left late (mechanical incoming aircraft). Then shortly before landing they closed CLT so first we stay in the air, then the captain announces that we will be landing in Wilmington as we are running out of fuel.

In Wilmington only let a few passengers out that anyways wanted to get there. Everybody else had to stay on the plan. No drinks served in F. Wait time to use restroom in F: about 30 minutes. Dark - no light. A/C off (was getting pretty humid). I ask male flight attendent for a drink after 3 hours on the ground, he refuses and tells me I have to wait until we are in the air again.

Finally the captain comes out and instructs the FA to serve drinks in F after like 3 1/2 hours. Then plane was re-fueled and delay was 4 1/2 hours.

At the US Club in CLT we were re-booked next day to PHX directly. Nothing available to go to PHL. Then they handed us a "hotel accomodations form". At a first glance you get the impression that US picks up the bill, not so when you make reservations (you have to do it yourself). As we are LH-SEN (*G) and were on paid A-Cls tickets the club agent agreed to provide 1 room for the 3 of us and $5 for breakfast and $10 for dinner.

As we had to skip PHL from our trip and were unable to get done what we wanted to do, what would you ask US for?

Would you ask for 3 F-tickets from PHX to PHL as they could not accomodate our original routing?

Thanks for your advice!

I feel your pain but your contract didn't include a stopover in PHL so I don't think US will feel that they owe you anything.
