Thanks! vivamuci Jun 2, 04, 7:23 am seat: my choice was always thai b777-300 over asiana b767 but asiana b767 over thai b777-200 ( still 2-4-2 in c ) service: thai over asiana daytime but nighttime asiana - thai offers substandard meals on night time flights even food service in first is far below what they usually offer if the flight departs past midnight ( just my experience from several flights when bkk arn still had f and on syd mel bkk - night time fra or lhr flights always had their full and wonderful foodservice ) on bkk sel midnight flight i never had good meals in c but then if sq operates a flight on the day you wanna go ( 5 times weekly ) the choice should be clear SFO_FT Jun 2, 04, 10:26 am I assume the SQ flight that operates after midnight is not operating that day, nor is the OZ 747 (which would give you a full flat seat in "C" because the 3-class aircraft is only sold as 2-class)? Personally, I would take the TG over the OZ, because I absolutely HATE the OZ 767s, which have no winged headrests in C (TG's aircraft do) and no personal TV set (I THINK that at least some of TG's 777s do have it). Also, TG's intra-Asia food is just slightly better than OZ's. If you have the time, you might consider routing BKK-SIN-ICN on SQ. N227UA Jun 2, 04, 6:22 pm I guess SQ has non-stop service between ICN and BKK. Kiwi Flyer Jun 2, 04, 6:39 pm Yes, some SIN-ICN are direct and some via BKK |
