From Joe Bergantino, reporter for WBZ-TV 4, did an exclusive yesterday on Logan Airport (BOS) as huge dump trucks were entering the airport and the actual tar mack without I.D. checks!! And what's worse is the current jerk working at Logan, Tom Kinton, is still working there AFTER the 9/11 hijackings. Just Mr. Kinton's attitude alone is reason enough that there are problems in Boston left over from Jane Swift (R former Governor) and the current governor, George W. Romney. In Tokyo, everyone has to go through a barbed wire fortress and everyone received ID checks. NO EXCEPTIONS! But in Boston, we still have A*holes at the helm making it dangerous due to incompetence, ignorance, laziness, and down right junior high school attitudes! Amazing!
Below is a clip of the coversation Bergantino had with Kinton. You won't believe what Kinton said! Unbelievable. Read the full article or have access to the video presentation via the link provided at the top. I must conclude by saying, "please enjoy"! It's a tragic laugh! Should Kinton stay or should he go? I say *GO*
Start:
So the I-Team asked to talk to Tom Kinton, the boss of the airport back on September 11, and still the boss today.
Joe Bergantino: “Almost three years after 9-11, how could that happen?”
Tom Kinton: “Well, the driver’s perception doesn’t necessarily mean reality.”
Joe Bergantino: “But either you check an id or you don’t check an id, it’s not a matter of perception.”
Tom Kinton: “ Well, again.”
Joe Bergantino: “No, ids were checked.”
Tom Kinton: “No ids were checked, I’ll grant you that but we know who the drivers are.”
Joe Bergantino: “All you had was his name on a list. Nobody checked to see whether the name on the list corresponded with the person driving the truck.”
Tom Kinton: “There are a number of people who go through the gate on a daily basis who we don’t check and that’s by design.
Joe Bergantino: “By what design do you not check who’s going on to your airport’s runways?
Tom Kinton: “By the airport’s security plan.”
Joe Bergantino: “There’s a plan that says we don’t check certain people going onto the runway?”
Tom Kinton: “That’s correct.”
Joe Bergantino: “You have that on paper somewhere?”
Tom Kinton: “I have it on paper, yes.”
Joe Bergantino: “Can you send us a copy of it?”
Tom Kinton: “No.”
Joe Bergantino: “Why not?”
Tom Kinton: “Because it’s protected information.”
