Starwood Preferred Guest - AAA rate plan in Sheraton

I was trying to book 2 nights at a Ft. Lauderdale Sheraton thru spg.com. The best rate I could get was $145/nt using a AAA rate. The conditions listed below are contradictory. Is this rate cancellable or not ?

when the cancellation policy is contradictory, this is the best case scenario for the customer. just print it out and do what you want. then, if there is a problem, just let customer care sort it out. your butt is covered. spg customer care is great....i don't think they would ever try to scr*w someone.

Actually, this is pretty standard with all of the prepaid rates.

You will be charged upfront for the entire stay, but if you cancel two days before arrival, you will be refunded the balance minus one night.

I do not see anywhere that there is a 1 night penalty(more like the length of stay deposit is forfeited).

It says the rate is non-refundable & that you can cancel 2 days before arrival !
