I was looking at the new SPG site today and redid some of my reservations to take advantate of the 250 point bonus promotion and noticed a new "QuickBook" feature. It appears that if you go to your account activity you can highlight a past hotel stay, put in dates, then click the button and easily create a new reservation. This is great when you tend to frequent the same hotel(s)! Thanks Starwood! ^

This feature does seem like a convenience, but I'm a little concerned there may be some "dynamic pricing" involved. In other words, once I've told SPG that a certain hotel is my "favorite" in a given city, will I be shown the best prices for that hotel, or will spg.com be programmed to quote me a "targeted" (i.e., higher) price, on the assumption that I'll be willing to pay a premium to stay there?

Only time, a little experimentation, and some old-fashioned FT information-sharing will tell.

It appears that the "Quick Book" feature on the right-hand portion of the "My Account" page (left column of that list) only goes back one year. Is there a way to change that default?

Does anyone know an easy way to find and book all of one's favorites (eight in my case) other than on the My Profile (edit My Favorites) page? When on that page, there is no "Quick Book," though one can click through on the individual hotel.

Does anyone have any experience in the 18 months since this innovation was introduced as to whether listing a hotel as a "Favorite" actually increases the price?
