Hi,
I'm trying to decide if we should order cab service to our B&B in Prague or use the metro. We will be arriving on an overnight train from Bratislava to Prague at about 6:30 AM. Our B&B offered to send a cab for us at $13 Euros. I'd rather save the money for lunch or something (if it's not too much of a hastle to use the metro) We won't be travelling with lots of luggage and typically use public transport if we can. How easy will it be for the two of us to use the metro to go about 4 stops from Hlvani. We won't have any Czech money and wiill need to exchange some inorder to use the metro. Thanks in advance!

We used it when we were there a couple of years ago (though admittedly not after getting off an overnight train!). It seemed pretty straightforward. If you are used to getting around by public transport you shouldn't have any problems. The only thing I don't know about is where you would be able to change money (we used the metro after we had been there a day or so)

Easy as apple pie. Simply grab a train map prior to arriving and locate which station is nearest to both your entrance and exit. Whether or not you read the language, this train system can be handled even by the short-busers like me ;)
