MilesBuzz! - 3 AA travel vouchers for full-time college students/$50

I'm a little suspecious and cynical by nature and am of the opinion that "if ya pay for half a haircut, ya get...half a haircut".

There is an offering to join this travel agency for $50 and they will send three AA travel vouchers. Two which can be used by either the college student or parent to travel between the home airport and the campus airport. The third has to be used by the student and s/he can travel from either the home or campus airport to anywhere AA flies in the 48 states, Hawaii or Puerto Rico.

There is also an offering for a credit card, and it is not clear to me whether you have to apply for the card to get the vouchers.

What do you think?? Is there a hole in this bucket?

My experience with these special coupons is that they often have so many restrictions attached to them as to be worthless - and I´d never pay to get them before confirming what these restrictions are.
Just my 2 cents.

P.S. there´s lots of other offers for college students that either don´t require prepayment or which at least give you an exact statement of the conditions attached to the use of the certificate(s).

Well - it's all a moot point now. I called for specific info and they said they are not taking any new members. They are just servicing the ones they have.
