Heard bad things about Thai's IFE so I'm wondering if they have a GPS channel. Thanks.

Yes - Thai's IFE does feature a GPS map in C and F. Seems to use the same software as UA, SQ and other major carriers. It also get shown on the main screens in economy/coach in between programming.

Similar to United & Singapore, Thai likely uses the Airshow display system. I think Airshow must have something of a monopoly on GPS in the in-flight entertainment market, as nearly every carrier currently offering such a system uses Airshow.
