I'm posting link to another tread because I think this is one of the hottest milage deals going and the other thread doesn't seem to be getting the attention I think it deserves. I'm sorry for creating more clutter on the board, otherwise.

Flingo started this thread: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/Forum1/HTML/003488.html

Here's the basics: if you spend $10,000 in the next six months, then you will get the following Delta skymiles:

- Up to 50,000 miles, matching your current
milage on Delta or any other carrier
- 15,000 for getting a platinum AMEX
- 10,000 to 20,000 miles for the 1-to-2
mile-per-dollar matching.

That's 75,000 to 85,000 miles!

Check it out!

This Amex 50K matching bonus offer is the best to come around in a while. I jumped on this last week, even though I haven't flown Delta in about 5 years.

I went with a Gold Card instead of a Platinum. The difference is 5,000 miles and a $50 lower annual fee. This is a better deal for a non-Delta flyer. Although the basic card might be the *best* deal, I don't want to carry around a low spending limit card when I need to plow $10,000 through it in six months.

Actual Delta flyers might like the Plat - some of the bonus miles count towards elite status.

Just don't forget to save one of your FF statements showing a September balance http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif.
