Seems that most of their expansion efforts are to keep building presense to Caribbean'esque destinations. I think that it does make sense to focus on your most profitable area, though it would be nice to see new service especially to the west.

ARLINGTON, Va., May 7, 2004 -- US Airways will begin nonstop roundtrip service between Bermuda and Orlando, Fla., tomorrow, the same week the airline celebrates its 15th anniversary of service from Bermuda.
The new flights will operate each Saturday between May 8-Sept. 25, 2004. Flights will depart Bermuda at 12:30 p.m., and will arrive in Orlando at 2:15 p.m. Return flights will depart Orlando at 1:15 p.m., and will arrive in Bermuda at 4:40 p.m.
"This summer, US Airways will have 52 weekly departures from Bermuda to eight nonstop destinations in the U.S., giving Bermudans convenient connections throughout our entire network, including the West Coast and Europe," said Douglas D. Leo, US Airways vice president of sales and international. "We are pleased to celebrate our 15th anniversary in Bermuda as we become the largest air carrier serving Bermuda."
US Airways began service in Bermuda on May 6, 1989, with nonstop service to Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI). US Airways operates nonstop service from Bermuda to Boston, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., New York LaGuardia, Philadelphia (twice daily), and Ronald Reagan Washington National airports. Nonstop service to Charlotte, N.C., and BWI resume June 6, 2004.
