US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - When will Thai be available with US miles?

I've been calling US trying to get a J award ticket to Sri Lanka in late December. I originally hoped for Singapore Air, then Thai, and then Lufthansa. However, Lufthansa doesn't fly to CMB, and Singapore is booked in all classes from the 21st to 25th. So that leaves Thai, but apparently they haven't given US access to their award seats yet. Does anyone have any insider information about this and can perhaps offer any details about when Thai will join *A as far as US is concerned?
Thank you.

Bump.
Anyone have any info about this? Or has anyone been able to book a Thai award using US miles yet?

Keep trying for that award on Singapore. Are your dates flexible? Singapore is definitely the best choice, in terms of service, for a business class award. You'll find others prefer the United biz seats, however, and are less worried about service.
Good luck.

Booking an award ticket to just about anywhere during the holiday season is tough, so I wouldn't get my hopes up if I were you...Thai Airways or not!

I already have an award on hold using AA miles but I would prefer to use 90k US miles instead of 110k AA ones.
As for flying UA vs. SQ, would I be able to take UA to SIN and then SQ to CMB?
Thank you for the replies.

Yes, that would be no problem on a Star Alliance award. However, due to the timing of the UA flights (i.e. they arrive close to midnight and depart around 7am) you would need to overnight in SIN in both directions...

With a Star Alliance award, could I book UA to SIN and then change that to a SQ flight if space opens up?
