Apologies if this has been addressed already- my search didn't turn up much.
I'm landing at San Diego airport at 10 AM wednesday. Since I only have a light bag & can't check into the hotel until 3 PM, I thought I'd take a bit of a scenic route out to the Hotel Del Coronado. I believe that I can catch the bus from the airport to the Broadway ferry dock (looks like that connects- am I reading the map correctly?) and then the ferry (http://www.sdro.com/sdhe/tours.htm) over to Coronado. The Hotel Del is on the other side of the island, though- should I try to get a taxi from the ferry to the hotel, since it looks like that's a long walk? I read also that you can get a water taxi- should I skip the ferry and see if I can get a water taxi from downtown out to the side of Coronado that the hotel is on? Any other options I should consider?
I'm not really looking to save money, just to see a little more of the town and the water than I would hopping into a taxi right at the airport. And to waste a little time. :)
many thanks for any advice on this!
