US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - Mileage accrual when involuntarily rerouted

Hi
Hoping that someone has some anecdotal evidence for the following situation.
I'm booked to go LGW-BOS later this month. I originally booked the trip as LGW-CLT-BOS (obviously to avoid PHL at all costs!), but this has since been changed by US to LGW-PHL-BOS, presumably due to the LGW-CLT flight being brought forward by 2 hours.
My question is - for which routing can I expect to accrue mileage? Will they by default award mileage for the originally booked flights, or for the flights which I will actually fly?
Just to complicate the issue, I may also choose to have at least one of the flights posted to my bmi account.
Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Welcome to US, UKFlyer! You get credit for the flights you actually fly, regardless of what airline's program you credit the mileage to. It's all based on the boarding pass: You get the miles for the city pair on your boarding pass based on the frequent traveler number printed on your boarding pass. That means you could go to the airport early & try to standby for the CLT flight. If you got on, you'd get mileage credit for LGW-CLT-BOS.
Good luck!

A further note to thisl; if you are invol. rerouted on another carrier it is possible to get mileage accrual on the original airline. This happened when I flew AA once and needed the US miles during a challenge. In this case your out of luck, however they would probably let you change your flights to get the CLT flight if you still wanted it at no charge.

IIRC the official DM policy is that if you are rerouted on US metal (and perhaps partners?) you get credit for your actual routing. If you are rerouted on another airline you'll get credit for your original routing.
I suppose BD might have a different policy, but since the flights were changed in advance and you were given notice, I doubt it.

The few times this has happened to me:
>When rerouted on US, I got DM credit for the actual routing flown
>When rerouted on another carrier (with my other-program FF# in their PNR prior to boarding), I got other-program credit for the actual routing flown, and (after writing to DM) got DM credit for the original routing :)

Thanks for the responses.
So it would seem that the general concensus of opinion (and the rules) says that you get credit for what you actually fly. Which is actually what I want to happen.
Yes, I know it's fewer miles than going via CLT, but a LGW-PHL leg will bring my BD account to just under the silver threshold. (Don't want it to go over until my US *G status expires Feb 05).

For a slightly different question, I know you can get miles on BOTH airlines if you are involuntarily re-routed onto a different airline, but can you get miles on both airlines if you accept a VOLUNTARY bump and are re-routed onto a different airline? My wife just did this last weekend (US to DL).

Note it isnt as easy - for lots of reasons - to standby from flights originating in Europe. In fact, sometimes they'll just say no.
I think the biggest problem is that the agents arent as well trained to do everything needed to work this out. I swear sometimes the contract agents literally know only the 4 steps to check someone in. Doing things like this requires calling over the often sole employee to do it, and there are usually many other things going on.
I have also been told there are manifest issues - like flight manifests need to be screened and checked before flights, and they cant change it at the last minute.
