US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - 1 way award???

Allright no one is allowed to laugh! but does US allows 1 way award. I read, last week that UA offers them, but it's not really well known. Does US allow you to do that? and if they do, is it like UA where it's well hidden in the exceptions rules! (Unfortunately I think I already know the answer :( )

US will gladly book you a one way award if you ask them to but they will charge you the roundtrip award miles. There is no reduced level for just going one-way. :eek:

US would be happy to book you a one-way award at r/t award mileage rates. One-way awards need to be booked via phone.

If ya gotta do it, then ya gotta do it. I almost had to burn 20k for ROC-RDG as I was stranded in ROC w/o my car which was in PA. Luckily I was able to get my car up to ROC w/o wasting miles.
