Travel Technology - Will this Adaptor give me power on BA FLIGHT

Thanks to the guys on the thread below i just purchased this adaptor
APC TRAVEL POWER PN0TEAC75 from COMP USA $49
It is the inverter with dc/ac and has RTCA APPROVAL
I have tested it in my car and powers my dvd player fine.
My question is will this model work on a BA 777 PLANE
Im in BUISNESS CLASS.
So i have DC sockets.
But i just need to make sure that this model does work with BA
Because i know its a UK plane and it might have diff DC sockets to other US PLANES
Any help with this would be great

Yes, that WILL work.

It has a normal (car lighter) DC plug AND an Empower plug.

Many US carriers have normal DC plugs (like AA), some use Empower. BA uses Empower.

So to cut a long story short; YES, that is a fine purchase.

does anyone know if their are plugs that plug into the cigerete lighter in teh car and that can power a laptop ?

We don't have any in any of the stores in australia :(

What brand of laptop, I seriously doubt an Australian PC store won't have any Targus brand stuff in stock. www.paw.com.au has it as well. Go to the www.targus.com website and find the model number you need, then order online at Paw.

Anyone know if this device works in coach as well?
