Travel Technology - If you could have any GSM phone.....
I killed my P800 and am using my beat to crap old T68. I gotta get a new phone in the next two days, therefore if you had the choice of any phone (assuming that min tri-band and video were prerequisites) and price was no option, what would you choose (I was really holding out for the P1000, but I can't wait that long obviously).

video? for what?
I'm waiting for the SE T637. Others have said the SE Z600 is good. But nobody offers them yet. I'd just wait for a month or so, since you already have a working tri-band GSM phone.

I'd like a tri-band Z1010, but that doesn't exist sadly :(
I'd probably pick either a Nokia 6600 or a P900.

What did you think of the P800? Expansys is selling them for c. $350 IIRC. Seemed cheap, but I like a smaller phone. Is the P900 that much better?

I beat my T68i to death as well. Replaced it with the T616. I'm happy. When the T637 is avail, I'll take a look. By then, I am sure SE will have announced something "coming soon" with even greater drool-factor than the T637.

Treo 600, out now.
Don't understand people talking about these other handsets not being available. The Z600 has been available for...what, 8 months? The Z1010 is on sale now in Europe, though quantities are still limited.
If I could have anything, though, it would be the new SE x700.
And, since I haven't carped about it for a couple of weeks, this seems like a good point to mention how I wouldn't buy another Mierdasoft POS8380 Smartphone or whatever their current it-phone is.

P800 is just too big and the sylus is horrid. P900 is a lot better and way easier to use as it has a 'real' stylus - nice screen as well. But, I just moved over to a Nokia 6600 - great Apps (symbian as well) and it plays video - small but perfectly formed.
Unfortunately my wife and myself have SE products and my last three phones were SE's. I've got a ton of accessories and would rather stay with SE phones. I may go P900 for now.

Sony Ericsson T616... I'm using that phone right now and I have yet to complain. I'm still looking for the SE Bluetooth headset for it though

I've found, especially when I've been looking for a new cell, is to go to ebay, not to buy, but to research.
The sellers are usually really quick to point out their competitors defects to show how their units overcome such failings. In this way, I've found I can very efficiently find out what is good and bad about all the current models in a short amount of time and with minimal effort.

What does the T637 give you over the T610?
