LatinPass/GlobalPass - Copa-Continental Outbids Rival For Avianca

This could be bad news, since CO/Copa might want Avianca to get out of GlobalPass:

And Avianca just became a Delta partner.

Yes, it appears that if the Copa/Continental bid succeeds, Avianca will pull out of GP. I just read an interview with Pedro Heilbron (the Copa president) where he says he wants to emulate at Avianca what he has already done at Copa. Specifically he refers to the FFP at Copa where he '...improved the value of our FFP'. As you remember Copa pulled out of LP and joined Onepass.

If I remember correctly, Copa was in OnePass and LatinPass concurrently for a very long time before they dropped out of LP/GP.
