Hi,
I've searched and searched and I either don't get any hits or w-a-a-a-y to many with the search criteria I have tried using. I was hoping someone might remember the post or be able to answer my question.

I remember reading a post of someone who said that he/she bought Wal*Mart gift cards at a service station to maximize the points earned.

What NON-Wal*Mart (if any) service stations, grocery stores, pharmacies, etc. sell the card?

Thanks
Mike

I may be mistaken, but I recall that someone recently said that he likes to buy a SAM'S CLUB gift card at Wal-Mart using American Express. The reason is that a lot of Sam's locations take only Discover, while the same is NOT true at Wal-Mart. If I may suggest, try searching for Sam's Club instead of Wal-Mart. The two are affiliated but are quite distinct and different in my experience (admittedly some years ago).

Some Wal-Mart Supercenters have a gas station attached. If you pay for your WM gas (Murphy USA) with a Wal-Mart/Sam's Club gift card, you save 3¢ per gallon.

Maybe that's what you're thinking of?

As far as I know, you can only purchase Wal-Mart/Sam's Club gift cards at same store. I don't think you can even buy them at the Murphy USA stations. It gets you through the door of the WM store.
