Other Car Rental Programs/Partners (ie. Alamo, Enterprise, Sixt) - Car rental in FRA

Hi,

Next week I am flying in and out of FRA and would need a car for four days. I have two questiosn, Is Alamo/National the cheapest option and if it is what is the best rates you have found for Thursday pick up and Monday return?
Second, can I take the car in Czech Republic and Austria?

Just noticed this is an old post, but for the possible benefit of others:

I would compare prices online w/different companies, including the travel search sites like Orbitz and the auto club. Alamo has some free upgrade and discount on its site. Your intended countries are part of the EU, so you should be able to cross borders OK. You might need an international driving permit for Czech. The auto club has it for $10. Definitely check terms of your rental agency for all rules. You could also call them about crossing borders, etc.
