Hilton has quietly reposted their pointstrechers for 2004. Dates are now available thru December.

Availability is still thin but much much better than the first posting a month ago.

Thanks HHonors.

Just checked London and the new 5 star Waldorf is available on PS for May.

Not a bad deal at 24k per night.

I just spoke with the redemption desk and they told me that the dates listed for the Waldorf Hilton are mistakes. I asked them to check June and they said that only regular rewards are available in the month of June. I already have a reward reservation at the Waldorf in June and was trying to find out if they will charge me 40K HH points or 24K HH points. Has anyone had any luck actually booking one of these new pointsavers at the Waldorf.

For what it's worth, I just called regarding a Point Stretcher at the Waldorf in September - the agent said that the website info for September is correct (Sept 1-7) but that there isn't any PS availability for the two nights I was trying to get (Sept 4-5). So it appears that PS awards are capacity controlled...

The HHonors Ts & Cs don't make a distinction regarding the availability of point stretchers vs. standard rewards, but I was just told I could book a standard award but not a point stretcher, even though it's supposed to be a PS period.

I tried a bunch of the supposedly just released PS dates and found that many of the hotels were already *out* of space.

I recommend moving fast if any of the posted dates match your travel plans.

I booked a week in Barcelona at X-mas. Now I just have to wait for the annual x-mas special business class ticket sale!

When she told me that the point stretchers were all booked, the agent suggested that I should go ahead and book the standard award; I decided not to (at the time). Since I've just drained down my HHonors account for the Kenya safari, I'm about 25K points short of the 80,000 needed for a 2-night standard award at the Waldorf London.

But after I got off the phone I realized that a NYC weekend at the end of the month will give me about half the shortfall, and in the worst case I can throw some Amex points into HHonors to get me there.

So I went onto the beta site and booked the standard award.

Still, it would be better if Point Stretcher dates meant that all available awards for those dates were at the point stretcher rate...

Did anyone find any Point Stretchers space available in the New York City Hilton hotels? There seems to be a BIG void when comes any listing of Point Strectchers for New York City Hiltons or am I missing something?

When Point Stretchers are available they are limited.....

Kinda like Airline Seats....

And THEY DO GO FAST!

There might still be Award availability but Point Stretchers are a premium commodity....Availabilty is obviously limited...Just like the Airlines...

Trust me....ALOT of people compete for these so its whos the fastest to book these deals...

Heres a link to try...

beta.hilton.com

Try it...

It allows you to log in and check whats available using your HH points for your desired destination...

AND BOOK it online!

Check it out!

We asked the rep to check all dates in June for pointstretcher availabilty and not a single date was available so she checked with her supervisor who told us that the dates were not properly loaded in the system and they will have to check directly with the hotel and we should try calling back in one week. Should we believe anything we hear from HHonors reps?

I believe that me contacting Adam might have had something to do with the "quiet" updating of the PS dates :).

Could you ask them to quietly update the Hampton Inn list? :)
