DT ONT Airport location. Got a weekend rate for $38/night and received stay credit, but no points for my visit. I tried to use the HSIA in my room, but it was defective. I assume that I would have gotten points on that incidental charge. I called the hotel a few days before check-in and asked them to add my Hhonors number to the reservation, which they gladly did. I have not received double dip credit, nor do I expect it, but if I receive, I will update.

Has anyone else had this same experience at other Hilton properties?

Be aware that the stay credit count may not be the same count as HHonors uses in determining status qualification. Last year my stay count indicated 35 stays but HHonors told me that only 30 counted for requalification due to the fact that 5 stays were via Priceline. I don't know if this is still the case given website updates.

I stayed at the SeaTac Hilton a few weeks ago in a room purchased through Priceline. When I gave them my Hilton Gold card, she pointedly told me that the stay was not eligible for HHonors credit.

BTW, I've stayed at Marriott Hotels in Seattle and DC this year, also on rooms bought through Priceline, and received stay credits towards elite qualification both times.

Since this seems to be at the front desk's discretion whatever HH policy, I don't think this is a good topic for a public board, but you can email me for some more info.

I'm guessing that posting details on a location doing something that is against Hilton policy on a public forum is probably going to put an end to it. You might want to edit out the property location.
