Hilton HHonors - Embassy Suites Vienna VA

I am taking the family on vaction this summer and was able to get an award stay at the Emabassy Suites Vienna VA any comments on this hotel would be help full?

We will be spending some of our time in Washington Dc and Baltimore.

The hotel is well run and in good condition. The hotel restaurant is in the entertainment book (http://www.entertainment.com) so you can buy a two for one dinner coupon for $10 and get the rest of the book for free.

The location is ok, but traffic in Tyson's Corner can be aweful during rush hour. The nearest metro (http://www.metroopensdoors.com) is about 5 miles away (Dunn Loring). Parking at that station can be tough to find on weekdays, but if you arrive at exactly 10AM the "guaranteed" spaces become available to everyone so finding a spot should be easy.

If you are open to other locations, in this thread (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=132100&highlight=metro+arlington+crystal+city) I created a list of all Hiltons within walking distance of metro (Northern Virginia only). Perhaps with plans to visit Baltimore as well a location in Maryland would be more suitable?

I believe the hotel has free shuttle to and from the West Falls Church station. Traffic is easy if you drive., so long as you do not use rt 7. Great Falls Road runs Paraell to rt 7 and has few traffic lights. E mail me if you need detail instructions on WFC station without using RT 7.
