Starwood Preferred Guest - how long for award to post?

apologies if this is a repeat question (I'm sure it is, but I did a search and couldn't find any answers)....I qualified for a stay 5 nights, get a weekend night free promo that ended last month. Any idea how long until that posts to my account, and will I be able to book the free night online?

There are so many different targeted promos that it is hard to keep them straight, but if it is like several of the other recent ones, nothing will post to your account. You will have qualified and you might receive an e-mail telling you so (many people who qualified, did not). Call SPG and ask if it is on your account. They will be able to see it. I qualified for a Friday and Saturday in one of the promotions & received no e-mail, yet it was on my account when I inquired and I was easily able to make a reservation to use the nights.
