get the points

I have stayed at this hotel over 10 times in the last year. Every single time, I have selected the 500 points as my amenity. There must be some problem with this hotel b/c I have never received the points. I bring it to the front desk attention every time and they act as if they have never heard of the problem. To receive the points, I must call the SPG Plat desk directly. Anyone had this problem?
