MarshKing Apr 6, 04, 10:51 pm The Sheraton & Westin in downtown Boston are so close that you do not even have to go outside to go from one to another. welookgood.com Apr 6, 04, 11:13 pm thank u for solving one prob.. next one anyway know which chicago hotels r closest to westin river north> CheapSk8 Apr 6, 04, 11:36 pm thank u for solving one prob.. next one anyway know which chicago hotels r closest to westin river north> According to the SPG website, the Westin Michigan Ave. is .7 miles away from the Westin River North. The next closest is the W Lakeshore, which is 1.31 miles away. choptliva Apr 7, 04, 4:57 am W Lakeshore is not too far from Westin River North, and it's to the east towards the :) lake. W City Center is to the south, still not that far away, towards the south end of the loop. Sheraton Chicago :( is to the east, not far away. Both Ws are, IMHO, very nice. The Sheraton, well.... All three s/b within 10-15 minute walk from Westin River North, just like the Westin Michigan Ave. CheapSk8 Apr 7, 04, 8:53 am W Lakeshore is not too far from Westin River North, and it's to the east towards the :) lake. I don't think the W City Center is within a 10-15 minutes walk from the Westin River North (especially with bags) unless you walk much faster than I do--it is significantly farther from the Westin River North than the Westin Michigan Ave. (I think the website said the W City Center is 2 miles away, but I don't remember.) I work near the Westin River North and attend a monthly happy hour at the W City Center. The cab ride is only a few dollars, but since the OP only asked about close proximity, if that's the only criteria, the W City Center is not the place to stay. choptliva Apr 7, 04, 5:40 pm I live and work in this area, and I have to disagree.
