US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - Award Itinerary change - compensation?

I have an FC award - that was just changed due to flight schedule changes.
The first leg of the award was changed from an A321 to a Dash 8. since this is a FC award - is there reasonable compensation that I could request?
I have not been offered anything for the change, but since I'm now flying on a turbo prop, what would you request?
I'm just wondering what if any would be reasonable.

my experience is that unless the entire trip or entire one-way is non-FC, they will offer you nothing other than waiving the re-deposit fee to cancel the whole award

Same thing happened to me. Sorry.
I had somewhat the same thing happen. Purchased tix to Paris, going to use miles or SWU to upgrade. I had the choice between an A330 and 767 and opted for the 330 even though it was a bit more expensive at the time. About a month later they switched all flights to the 767. Had I had only that as an option when I booked, I would have chosen the less expensive flights which actually would have given me a total of five more hours (three on the front, two on the back) in Paris.

Thank You for your replies.
I guess now, I have to figure out how to get my 13 year old on the turbo prop with out creating too much of a scene.
