Heading out to Macon, GA in a couple of weeks for work. I'll be there for a week, so anything good/interesting to check out? BTW, I'll eat pretty much anything placed if front of me.

A seafood place, everything is fried. Not good for the arteries, but great catfish and flounder. Inexpensive, too. Was too full to try the pecan pie. Great BBQ at Fresh Air BBQ, reasonable prices, too. Not BBQ, but good anyway is Nu-Way Weiners. A small regional chain (been around since 1916), has great dogs. Nobody I saw were ordering the burgers. [This message has been edited by boilermaker (edited 10-18-2002).] |
