Ok, so N. WI is not known as the hotbed of cuisine, so I do get excited at a place that attempts out of the ordinary cooking.
Wolf Pack Café is a breakfast joint, not much else, I have not been here for lunch, but I have had quite a few breakfasts.
Their pancakes are very buttery and fluffy. Due to the butter there is a nice crisp (JUST A TOUCH!) edge around the pancakes. I love the taste/texture of their pancakes.
On Sundays Wolf Pack serves a blackened fish breakfast, you have to ask for it, but they are very happy when you do. Quite tasty, as good as that guy from New Orleans whose name starts w/an “E”, no, but damn tasty for the Northwoods.
I have also seen occasionally black beans on the breakfast menu. I make sure to order them.
Wolf Pack does serve the normal breakfast chow (I believe better than most places up here), but every once in awhile they try something new, I like that.
