We were drawn to Homard fou because of it’s menu and the fact they did not have the “hawkers” out front steering you into their restaurant, I HATE that.

Homard fou is on a corner, the upstairs dining area has open windows on both sides of the building so a wonderful breeze blew through.

We had a very friendly waitress from Toronto who was a good personality fit w/us.

To start I had the salmon tartare, not bad, but salmon is not one of my favorite tatares.
Wife’s choice was a delicious fruits de mer salad full of various seafoods, w/a mayo vinaigrette dressing, scrumptious, every seafood was cooked perfectly.

For the entrée I had Normandy chicken, as one can imagine it was prepared w/some apple cider, so the sauce was a velvety brown apple delight. I did a lot of sopping w/my bread (I know, a no-no, but it was soooo good.)

Wife had a Parisienne Lobster meal, which consisted of a cold lobster slit in two w/a sweet mayo dressing and other fruits de mer. Again all seafood was perfect.
