Asia - Bangkok airport food

For early morning flights you only have one choice of food at the airport which is the Kentucky Fried Chicken place. Truly terrible food. If you are leaving early, take some snacks with you if you are going to be stuck for a while. It may have improved since I was there in 2001 but it was bad enough that I wouldn't take the chance.

Still hasn't changed, I left BKK on the early NW flight to NRT on 21 Jan and the only thing open was the KFC and yes it looked nasty.

Well, may I just add that da grinds in the club rooms a MUCH better....That's where you need, inna da club room, in all airports in Thailand. At least in Chiang Mai ( CNX) there is a proper bar open to the public.
Shite, in Phuket (HKT)the Royal Orchard Hut
hasn't a "toddie for the boddie" in the Morning. Not sure about PM but the other Thai Lounges are "WET". The only anwere may be that, asa some may know, Phuket is designated to be visited for its nature site and not the natural beauty of the 1000 Darlings waiting to greet you and your willie! They be wet to make up for the dry room in HKT Int'l Ta Ta!

THe Airline Club room is the place for the snack.
On my return flight, I didn't have time to find the CX FC lounge, but was very curious to see what it was like food wise.
