Seen information about this website selling gift certificates at 50% off from face value? Have you used such? Recomend it or any part of it? Safe?

It's restaurant.com, without the "S", right? That's probably why it didn't come up. Or maybe it wouldn't if you only searched Dining. The ongoing restaurant.com thread, for whatever reason, is in the S.P.A.M. forum:

I think the reason it's there is because they keep on discussing getting additional discount codes for buying the coupons, but I think there is some general knowledge of the program in there as well. I really don't follow the thread, but I pop into S.P.A.M. often enough to know it's there.

I have used restaurant.com in a number of cities and I enjoy it. No problems. The new code that came out today is for 60% off therefore a $25.00 gift certificate that normally is $10.00 with the code DINE will be $4.00. Check out the website. It's good. This code is good until 2-28-07.
