We arrive on QF2 from LHR at 16.00, with an RG flight up to Chaing Mai booked at 17.15. I guess that this will be okay (TA booked it for us, not me http://www.flyertalk.com/airports/ftairports_forum/wink.gif ), but will it be hassle-free ?
Any tips on getting from Int-Domestic easily ?
Thanks in advance

Hmm, RG = Varig? I do take you meant TG?
Have never done this connection but I won't count on a quick connect. It might be quite a walk from where QF flights dock (generally around the middle part of terminal 1 (north and connected air and landside with terminal 2 (south)) but you'll have to walk to the south end of terminal 2 to get through immigration (can be notoriously slow so walk fast) and customs. Not sure how you get to the domestic terminal (south of terminal 2). I think there is a (long) walkway. Not sure about shuttle busses and their frequency.
1 1/4 hrs seems to tight.

thanks terenz, of course I mean TG - Varig would be an awful long way from home in BKK http://www.flyertalk.com/airports/ftairports_forum/wink.gif
Oh well, guess we'll have to get our walking shoes on ...
