<font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2">SINCE ITS inception 75 years ago, Oakland International Airport has seen a string of firsts and sometimes lasts. Charles Lindbergh was the first to land there. Amelia Earhart took her last flight from the field.

The first plane trip from the continental United States to Hawaii took off from the airport, as did the first flight to Australia.</font>

I think the biggest milestone is that it can now take over an hour to get from 880 to the terminal on a Friday night.
