JS Jul 17, 02, 9:20 pm Take the monorail to the train station, NJ Transit to NY Penn Station, walk down 34th Street, gaze up at the Empire State Building, eat lunch, buy a postcard, walk back to Penn Station and take NJ Transit back to EWR. Another, less glamorous option is to take a taxi to the Jersey Gardens Mall in Elizabeth. The mall is very large and less than a 5 minute ride from the airport. http://www.jerseygardens.com/ Personally I would choose the first option if you have enough time. Very close by too. Just make sure you keep the cabbie's card so you can ensure a cab ride back. |
