California - 3 hours at LAX 0500-0800 - what to do?

Checked Encounters web site and they're not open, am not going to feel like leaving the airport and coming back through security. So with a three hour layover on UA, where's a good spot to grab a cup of joe and a smart pill?

Anyone know what time the RCC opens in the morning and if high speed net access is available in the UA concourse?

The LAX RCC opens at 5am. As to coffee, there is a coffeehouse in Terminal Six (a five minute walk from the RCC, you do not have to exit the secured area) that isn't bad. Not sure when the open though. Personally, I like the RCC's coffee!

There is also a place right across the hall from the RCC that has high speed access. Not sure of its hours, haven't paid much attention to it. Phone lines in the RCC are very clean. I get 50K using two different ISP's.
