California - How get from LAX Terminal 7 to Terminal 4 ?

Are the tunnels open that will allow you to walk from Terminal 7 via 6 and 5 to Terminal 4? Do not want to exit terminal and have to return thru security.

When I was there last week the tunnels were still closed. You will probably have to exit.

why do you want to transfer from t7 to t4?

Hawaiian Son, within Security I'm only aware of an above ground walkway between Terminals 6 and 7. I believe all LAX tunnels are closed at this time.

Unfortunately, you will need to exit Terminal 7 (or Terminal 6 if you use the walkway) and then re-enter Security at Terminal 4. In your case, there's no real advantage to using the walkway, IMHO. Terminal 7 to Terminal 4 should be a five to ten minute walk, all on the same side of the street, without crossing any streets. http://www.flyertalk.com/airports/ftairports_forum/smile.gif
