Wierd question, I know, but my husband is from Scotland and is looking for sports bars in New England that regularly watch Rugby. He is particularly interested because of the February and March Six Nations matches. Any suggestions??

He might try the Kinvara Pub in Allston, on Harvard Ave between Brighton Ave and Cambridge St. They've always got Gaelic sports on the tube (except during live entertainment), and they do sometimes pick up satellite feeds of live events (they did during the Euro 2000 soccer tourney).

Obviously more Irish-centric than Scots-centric, but this is Boston.

Thanks for the tip Wideman. I will give them a ring sometime in February after we find out exactly what the time schedules are and see if they will be watching!! Of course, Ireland plays in the Six Nations too, so I am sure if the timing is right, it will be on the tube!

If you want something downtown try The Irish Embassy pub on Canal Street, a block from the Fleet Center:

Also, The Kells in Allston. And I think you can check setanta.com for bars that carry the matches for which they own the rights.
