Hi,

Since Priceline just asks for the number of rooms (NOT people) has anyone has any problems if they were a party of 3 instead of 2?

I would be happy to bid higher for 3 people occupancy in a room, however, PL does not give you that option!!

Thanks.

I don't know what this has to do with Hilton specifically.

Try reading the multiple discussions at www.biddingfortravel.com. (http://www.biddingfortravel.com.)

Priceline will yield you a standard hotel room that might have 1 King, or it might have 2 doubles. You can request 2 doubles, but it's no guarantee that you will get it. (A frequent-guest number on your reservation along with the request could help though.)

If your real question is "Will the hotel charge me extra for a cot if they can't get me 2 doubles?" then it probably depends on the property.

In my experience, I've done 4 people in a Priceline room on several occasions. My 2-double-bed request has always been honored. It's the other way (when I want 1 King) that I sometimes have trouble getting with Priceline rates.

(Not that this has much to do with Hilton.)
